Stomp the Mega Quarry - Walk, Run, Bike - 5k, 10k, Half and Marathon
Saturday,  July 28,  2012
Where did this event come from?  There is a proposal to excavate the second largest quarry in
Canada in the neighbourhood.  Okay, if this wasn't the same water aquifer that gives birth to
Ontario's largest rivers, Credit, Grand, and Nottawasaga.  One heads north to Georgian Bay, one
south to Lake Ontario, and one south to Lake Erie. A Mega event planned to stop the Mega quarry.
